'Tis the Season......

Well as the old saying goes...."Tis the season to be Jolly..."  why aren't people JOLLY?  What is it that drives people to be rude, crude and Grumpy this time of year?  Is it the Rush or the scramble that put some folk's over the edge?   I sit back and observe the people and I wonder why?  Why does it have to be like this?  This is the season to be JOLLY, HAPPY, JOYOUS, and most of all THANKFUL!  Thankful that we celebrate the birth of JESUS our Savior.  

  It is a time to spend with family and loved ones.  It is a time to Give and Share!  I love shopping for those special family and friends.  I love to Give.  I know it makes me feel good to give and share.  I adopt a couple of children every year thru my church and that feels good!  

  I want to make a difference in this crazy world.  It's not a perfect world and we don't live perfect lives but if we all help each other and give to those who are needy by God we will all be a little more JOLLY!  

  As I stood in line at the check out a person came behind me with ONE item, I said "go ahead and get in front of me".  The person asked "Really?" like they couldn't believe it.  I said absolutely with a big smile, "Tis the Season"......and they thanked me.  I said do something nice for someone else today.......pass it on!  They said "of course" and smiled back.  We did catch a few glimpses of onlookers gazing strangely at us but I just smiled.......it made me feel JOLLY!  The person checked out and said to me "have a nice day" and I said "thank you I will"!

  Just like it that......we smiled and knew it made our day.  The simple things in life.....

Back to School

  It's hard to believe that summer is almost over.  However I do think that the children are going back to school much earlier that we did when we were kids.  I remember starting back to school after Labor Day.  Now the kids go back in the middle of August  It really cuts the summer short by 2 weeks.  HUMMM  perhaps it has to do with $$$$    ???     Appearantly that is what motivates the government.  

   Getting my 13 yr. old son ready for 8th grade and his final year in lower school has been a breeze.  He's excited about being the "elder's" in school this year.  More importantly he is excited to be able to finally play a school sport at school!!  Football.....yea.  The only thing I don't like about football is the physical contact.  Since he is 6 foot tall.....and wears a size 13 shoe, I worry that he will hurt another player.  I don't worry about him getting hurt but he will have his fair share of bruises and bumps.  GET out the Livinity PAIN GEL.  It is the best pain gel ever!   I guess I better order a gallon of it so we can pass it out to the other players!

LIVINITY CRUISE

We are home and back in the routine of daily life.  The Livinity cruise was absolutely amazing.  The ship was huge and very elegant. The Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas.  The food was superb and the entertainment FUN!  I had not been on a cruise for 30 years...and it was nothing like I remembered from way back then.  We also had a special reception for  Livinity given by the Founders Dave & Barb Pitcock.  Then we all had a black tie dinner!  

  I tell you the drinks served pool side, the dancing on the deck under the stars, the karaoke singing in the lounge were just a few of my favorite things.  My 13 yr. old son stated it was the best vacation of his life!  His only question was can we go again??????

  Well YES we will go again next year.  The Livinity company gave away cruise dollars during a 3 month period, so we earned our cruise.  The suite is available for 4 star Diamonds.  My son told us we needed the suite next year so we need to get busy with the business!!  OH also YOU can come with us next year....just ask me how you can travel the beaches of the world for FREE!!

The Countdown

OK so we are really on a countdown.  Well actually we are on TWO countdown's.  First and best the countdown until the cruise.  TEN days until we leave for FLORIDA!  WARM weather.

    Last weekend it was nice to make a spur of the moment decision to go to Las Vegas.  We booked it in the am and left that night!  I was able to spend my sister's birthday with HER in VEGAS!    The temperatures were fab!!

      Now I am on a mission to whip into shape real fast before the cruise!  Today I went to YOGA and then tried to stay for a second class vinyasa ....I only made it half way thru that 2nd class!  Oh well tomorrow I am sure that I will be SORE SORE SORE  of course it will be worth it! Good thing I had my BleRez Energy Shot before going to the Zen Zone for classes.

  Thirteen days until we board the CRUISE.......we are excited that we are going to get to spend time with The Livinity Company, Owners, Distributors, Friends and family.  

    

the weight is dropping with the temperatures

OK I must say I am DONE with winter...so please go away!  The temperatures continue to drop and the cold weather along with the continuous snow flurries is OLD NEWS!  TIME TO GO OLD MAN WINTER!

  It's hard to get motivated when it's so cold outside that you just want to hibernate like a bear.  I prefer to stay inside wrapped in a blanket sitting by the fire!  How can I get motivated for the summer weather when I can't hardly get out of the house!

  Well my weight loss has been slow and steady...6 pounds  now.

I WANT TO BE A SNOW BIRD!

WELL the snow looks so pretty all glistening and white (for a few more days) in KC it will be gray and nasty looking in a day or so.....but out in the country where I live, the snow is so pretty on the trees and fields.  Today however I HATED the snow because I got STUCK  in it in my own driveway.  YEPPER  I was heading out to work and low and behold...pulled out of my garage in reverse turn slightly only to slide down a slight hill and SLID into the side of the drive where the plow had left a nice 2 foot drift!  ARGGGG  I don't have time to be late today.  I start seeing my patients at 9 am sharp......so I called for my daughter who was down at the barn feeding her horses.....she came up to rescue me with her pickup truck....after pushing, rocking, and trying like crazy to get out, I had her just "bump" my car with her truck....NO LUCK I was frickin' stuck!  

  I pushed and rocked the car while she tried to drive....I felt like WONDER WOMAN for a short 10 minutes.....and my ARMs do feel it tonight!  I got a work out......and was frustrated.  I called my husband who told me to take my daughters truck to work and he would let her drive his....and all this before I even got off to work.  I called my receptionist and had her tell my first appointments that I was running late.....they rescheduled!  Off to work I went 1 hour LATE!  What a way to start the day and I asked myself  "Why do I live in Missouri in January"???  I have to find a way to become a "Snow bird" and get out!   Well I took my BLUREZ energy shot and a starbucks camel macchioto and "blew" into my office.  After laughing about the morning I was re-energized after my BLUREZ energy drink!  Yea.......of course I had a better day then....

JANUARY BLUE's

Here it is only the second week of January and the weather has been unbearably COLD...as a matter of fact with all the snow and below zero weather we have been having in the mid west the schools were cancelled last week ALL week! AAAHHH we were snowed in for 3 days!
Well what do you do when you are snowed in? Lets see watch movies..yes we did that! Bake..of course we did that also! CLEAN?? Yes we did that! And do you know how good that feels??

HAPPY 2010

HAPPY NEW YEAR and a wish for a GREAT 2010!!  It is going to be a great year, I can tell already!  It has been a decade since the millennium and that seems like yesterday.  It is amazing that ten years have flown by and I am getting older faster!
